Acleris gatesclarkei Kawabe, 1992

Acleris gatesclarkei是捲蛾科(Tortricidae)捲蛾亞科(Tortricinae)捲蛾族(Torticini)的成員。本種的前翅為白色底，布滿許多黑褐色的細紋，前緣附近的細紋顏色較淡，前緣基部至3/4處強烈彎曲且中央有一塊三角形黑斑；後翅為灰褐色，沒有其他翅紋。A. gatesclarkei的模式產地為翠峰，且另有研究者曾於五里坡採獲。

A Brief Introduction:
Acleris gatesclarkei, an endemic species in Taiwan, is belonging to Acleris, a genus with high diversity. It could be identified from other species in Taiwan by white background colour of forewing with irregular brownish lines, strongly curved costa of forewing and a triangular black marking on forewing.
