Ancylolomia japonica Zeller, 1877

稻巢草螟(Ancylolomia japonica)被歸屬於草螟科(Crambidae)草螟亞科(Crambinae)。本種的雄蟲前翅為橘褐色底，有許多黑色虛線排列呈放射狀，外緣有一排黑點，點之間常有黑色斑紋連接，亞外緣有兩條黑色波浪紋，翅基中央有一條白色斑紋延伸至翅1/2處；後翅為黑褐色，無其他翅紋。雌蟲顏色較淡，其他特徵與雄蟲相同。
A Brief Introduction:
Ancylolomia japonica represents the only species of Ancylolomia in Taiwan and has no similar species. However, wing pattern of Ancylolomia is quite conservative that genitelia dissection is needed for identification.
